News Editor

I thrived at the Orlando Sentinel, where I worked as a reporter and editor for nearly 20 years.
I spent my last eight years at the newspaper in the key role of Deputy Breaking News Editor.
Crashes, murders and general mayhem surface at any time in Central Florida.
As a breaking news editor, it was my job to make sure we covered all the important things at all the right times in a very competitive news market.
Chaos management was just one part of the job. I have edited stories about local government, politics, growth, education and a variety of other topics.
This diverse experience served me well during my stint at Drugwatch, where I worked as managing editor for two years after leaving the Sentinel.
Check out the slideshow of articles I edited at the Orlando Sentinel.
